Rimini's Hidden Gem: Hotel Nuovo Belvedere - Unbelievable Views & Luxury!
Rimini's Hidden Gem: Hotel Nuovo Belvedere Review - Unbelievable Views & Luxury! (Brace Yourself… It's Good)
Okay, folks, buckle up. Because this isn’t just a review, it's a confession. I just came back from Hotel Nuovo Belvedere in Rimini, and I’m still dreaming of that view. Seriously. I'm talking "post-vacation blues" level of longing. This place? It's not just good; it's got you.
Let's be honest, Rimini? It's the Italian Riviera. Gorgeous, yes, but also… touristy. I went in expecting a decent hotel, a beach, and maybe – maybe – a decent plate of pasta. What I got was a life-altering experience. This place has earned its "Hidden Gem" title. They didn't pay me, I swear!
First Impressions: The View… Oh, That View! (Cue the Swooning)
Accessibility? Alright, let's get the practical stuff out of the way first. The hotel boasts Elevator access. You know, crucial stuff for lazy holidaymakers like myself carrying a mountain of luggage. I didn't personally check, but the website mentions Facilities for disabled guests, which is always a huge plus. And a big shout out to the Front desk [24-hour]! Always comforting to know you can get help, whether you're locked out of your room at 2 am (hypothetically, of course… ahem) or just need extra towels. The Check-in/out [express] option is also a lifesaver. No one wants to spend their precious vacay time stuck in a line, right? The Car park [on-site] and Car park [free of charge]. Okay, fine, good parking situations.
But… the view. Good God. The pictures online? They don't do it justice. It's a panoramic, breathtaking sweep of the Adriatic Sea. I mean, the ocean and blue sky merge together. You're up there, you feel like you're floating. Truly unbelievable. And yes, I’m laying it on thick. I know. But I can't stress the view enough! That's how the hotel should be!
Room to Breathe… And Breathe Again (And Maybe Cry a Little)
Okay, so I’m in love with the view. But what about the room? Well, let me get this straight. My room, specifically I had a High floor one (thanks, Hotel Nuovo Belvedere!), with Air conditioning, Alarm clock, Bathrobes, Blackout curtains, Coffee/tea maker, Complimentary tea, Desk, Extra long bed, Free bottled water, Hair dryer, In-room safe box, Internet access – wireless, Ironing facilities, Laptop workspace, Mini bar, Mirror, Non-smoking, Private bathroom, Reading light, Refrigerator, Satellite/cable channels, Seating area, Separate shower/bathtub, Shower, Slippers, Smoke detector, Sofa, Soundproofing, Telephone, Toiletries, Towels, Umbrella, Wake-up service, Wi-Fi [free], Window that opens. All that. And more!
The room itself was impeccably clean. Cleanliness and safety is definitely a priority here. The staff seemed to sanitize even the air, which is reassuring, especially in these post-pandemic times. They have Anti-viral cleaning products, and Rooms sanitized between stays. Also, Daily disinfection in common areas. They're taking it seriously, and it shows.
The bed was so comfy, it was almost criminal the way I slept in it. The linens were crisp, clean, delicious. The air conditioning was welcome refuge from the Italian heat. And the blackout curtains? Genius. I was a vampire, coming out only to eat and ogle at the ocean.
Spa Day (And the Moment I Almost Died… From Pure Bliss)
Okay, hear me out. The Spa, Sauna, Steamroom, Spa/sauna, Massage… I went on a spa-ing spree. I went to the Fitness center to guiltily try and work off the 17 courses I ate for lunch. The Pool with view was simply… heavenly. And the Body scrub and Body wrap? I can't remember the last time my skin felt this delicious. Honestly, the entire experience was so relaxing that I almost lost the will to live. (In a good way, of course.)
The highlight? A massage. The masseuse was… I don't know, some kind of wizard. I walked in, stressed, tense, and generally a mess. I walked out feeling like a reborn human. It was the kind of massage that makes you forget all your problems. And then gives you new ones, like, "How am I going to afford to do this every single day?"
Dining, Drinking, and Snacking (A Culinary Adventure!)
Food. Let's talk food. Because, Italy. And Hotel Nuovo Belvedere, once again, delivers. The A la carte in restaurant, Asian cuisine in restaurant, Breakfast [buffet], Buffet in restaurant, Coffee/tea in restaurant, Desserts in restaurant, International cuisine in restaurant, Poolside bar, Restaurants, Salad in restaurant, Snack bar, Soup in restaurant, Vegetarian restaurant, Western breakfast, Western cuisine in restaurant… literally everything. I am not even going to go into detail of how much food I consumed, just know that as a result I am on a cleanse.
The Breakfast [buffet] was insane! I had a Coffee/tea in restaurant, a huge breakfast selection, everything from pastries to eggs, to fresh fruit. The coffee was good. The juice fresh. The croissant? Crispy, buttery heaven.
Services and Conveniences (Making Life Easy)
They seriously thought of everything. Air conditioning in public area, Business facilities, Cash withdrawal, Concierge, Contactless check-in/out, Currency exchange, Daily housekeeping, Doorman, Dry cleaning, Elevator, Facilities for disabled guests, Luggage storage, Meeting/banquet facilities, Outdoor venue for special events, Safety deposit boxes, Smoking area, Terrace, Wi-Fi for special events, Xerox/fax in business center, Airport transfer, Bicycle parking, Car power charging station, Taxi service, Valet parking. Everything.
They even have Food delivery. Like, literally to your room! This place caters to your every whim. They really got the basics covered and more.
For the Kids and Lovers (And the Not-So-Lonely)
I'm not traveling with kids. But I noticed they had Babysitting service, Family/child friendly, Kids facilities, Kids meal. I saw children enjoying the pool and playing around. It's definitely a place you can bring the family.
I also saw a couple, and I thought, "This is a serious proposal spot!" (the Proposal spot is mentioned) Romantic!
The Quirks, the Imperfections, and the Real Talk
Even though I had a nearly perfect experience, no hotel is perfect. I wish I could have asked for Breakfast in room and Breakfast takeaway service, but it was a little too busy.
Would I Go Back? OH. MY. GOD. YES.
Look, I could talk about the Staff trained in safety protocol, the Cashless payment service, the incredible Room service [24-hour], and the incredible Internet services, but you're probably tired of listening to me gush.
Just go. Seriously. Book a room at Hotel Nuovo Belvedere. Experience the view, the luxury, and the pure, unadulterated joy I experienced. You will not regret it. Pack an extra suitcase for souvenirs (and your inevitable new addiction to relaxation).

Fethiye's Hidden Gem: Yaşam Park Residence Apart Hotel! ✨
Okay, buckle up, buttercups, because here's the diary of my Rimini adventure, Hotel Nuovo Belvedere Edition. Let’s see if I can actually stick to a schedule…which, let’s be honest, is a long shot.
Rimini Rhapsody: A Hot Mess of a Itinerary (Hotel Nuovo Belvedere Edition)
(Day 1: Arrival and the Surprisingly Sturdy Beach)
- 14:00 - Arrival at Hotel Nuovo Belvedere: Okay, so, the hotel is…well, it's there. A bit faded, maybe, like an old postcard. The kind of place that smells faintly of both sea air and, I suspect, decades of pasta. Check-in was smoother than I expected, which immediately made me suspicious. Are they hiding something? My room, the "Sea View" as they call it, actually does have a sea view. Pretty damn good one, at that. Bonus points.
- 15:00 - Beach Reconnaissance (and Immediate Regret of Packing So Many Dresses): The beach! Oh, the beach. It's…packed. Like, sardines-in-a-can packed. But the sand is fine. Like, seriously fine. The water, though? Cold. Colder than my ex's heart after I accidentally spilled red wine on his favourite shirt. I waded in, squeaked, and then promptly beached myself like a frustrated walrus. Note to self: next time, pack the practical, not the "chic-but-uncomfortable-in-sand" outfits.
- 16:00 - First Aperitivo Fail: Okay, so I wandered into a beachside bar, ordered a Spritz, and was promptly forgotten. The waitress seemed to have developed selective amnesia, clearly favoring the tanned, oiled up locals. Finally flagged someone down, got my (watered-down?) Spritz, and watched the sunset. It was beautiful. The Spritz? Meh.
- 18:00 - Dinner Disaster (in the best possible way): Found a little trattoria down the road. I forgot the name, but it was clearly run by a family who thought I was a small, slightly bewildered Italian grandmother. Three courses, all delicious, and enough pasta to feed a small army. The waiter (who, if I'm honest, was a bit too touchy) kept chattering in Italian and offering me more wine. I'm pretty sure I gave him my life story (and my opinion on the best kind of pasta sauce) in incredibly broken Italian by the end. Worth it.
- 21:00 - Bed (and a Deep Dive into People-Watching): Back at the hotel. The walls are thin, so I can hear everything. Italian conversations, loud seagulls (which I've decided are just Italian seagulls), and the occasional muffled snort from someone's snoring. I'm pretty sure I can also hear the chef’s thoughts, he might have be thinking about the food.
(Day 2: Culture, Confusion, and the Case of the Missing Gelato)
- 09:00 - Breakfast (The Unexpectedly Good Kind): Okay, the breakfast buffet at the hotel is… actually pretty decent. Fresh fruit, decent coffee, and some kind of pastry that's basically pure sugar and joy. I ate three. Judge me all you want.
- 10:00 - Exploring the Borgo San Giuliano: Wow. Just wow. This district is like something out of a Fellini film. Cobblestone streets, colorful houses adorned with murals, and a general air of charming chaos. I got slightly lost, which, honestly, was the best part. I stumbled upon a little artisan shop and bought a necklace I will probably never wear but I already adore.
- 12:00 - Lunch (and a Failed Attempt at Being Chic): Found a cute restaurant in a piazza and ordered pizza. I was attempting to look sophisticated, but I quickly realized that pizza eating is not a chic activity. Melted cheese everywhere. I got a tomato sauce stain on my dress. Back to the drawing board.
- 14:00 - The Rimini Bridge of Tiberius - A monument of beauty and history by the river, looking at past glory: This bridge is impressive. It’s old. Really old. And it’s still standing. It’s like a monument to stubbornness. I took some pictures, wandered around the area, and felt very small. But then, I decided to take a walk by the river, I love the quiet the river provides when you want to relax, and I felt relaxed for once, that’s a miracle.
- 16:00 - Gelato Apocalypse: I was promised gelato. DELICIOUS, creamy, life-affirming gelato. I walked for what felt like miles, sweating like a pig in a sauna, only to find every single gelato shop closed. Closed! In the middle of the afternoon! This is a blatant attack on my happiness. Devastated.
- 17:00 - Meltdown (and a Recovery Spritz): Back at the hotel, emotionally scarred and gelato-less. I went to the bar and demanded (in a slightly irrational manner) another Spritz. The bartender looked amused, but gave me one anyway. The sweetness and the bubbles started to calm my nerves. Maybe the gelato gods are just testing me…
- 19:00 - Dinner (Attempt Two): This time, I've booked a place with a good reputation. Fingers are crossed. Because I’m starving!
- 21:00 - Bed (Again): This place is starting to grow on me. Maybe it's the chaos. Maybe it's the wine. Maybe it's the Italians' complete lack of regard for personal space. Whatever it is, I'm starting to feel… happy.
(Day 3: The Beach, the Bus Ride from Hell, and the Bitter Sweet Goodbye)
10:00 - Beach Time (Take Two): Back to the beach. Today is better, at least the weather is sunny and the water is actually (almost!) bearable. I also got the best book ever for reading, my favourite.
12:00 - Beach Bar Lunch (and a Chatty Cathy Moment): Found a more organized beach bar and spent hours talking to a local about the latest drama, the history of the town, the most popular beaches and the less visited, which I'll definitely take.
14:00 - The Bus Ride to the Moon…or Maybe Just the Train Station: I’m taking the bus for a day trip to Venice. I waited for the bus but it was delayed half an hour… which I am not happy about. It's packed. Like really packed. I'm pretty sure I'm touching at least three strangers. The air smells faintly of garlic and despair. We’re stopping at every single stop. The journey felt like a lifetime, but hey, the view was worth it. The architecture, the colors, and of course, the pizza.
18:00 - Back at the Hotel (and a Final, Heartfelt Goodbye to the Gelato Gods): Back to the hotel, where the gelato gods continue to taunt me. I take a walk around the streets, looking for a gelato but still no luck. I think the universe is trying to tell me something. We have a final dinner booked, and I really enjoy my moment.
20:00 - Farewell Dinner: Tonight's dinner was at a delicious restaurant located downtown, where the chef cooked the best meal I've had since I got here.
22:00 - Packing and Unpacking (and a Touch of Existential Dread): Attempting to pack. Why is packing always so hard? I realize I bought too much and I don’t know what to keep. I’m so sad, I want one more chance to visit this amazing place. Packing always makes me think, is this it? This is my own life? My own adventure? And while sometimes it doesn't feel like a lot, it does make me happy at the end of the day.
23:00 - Sleep: A bit of sadness, but a lot of serenity too. The hotel staff has been helpful, and the food has been good. It felt nice, good bye Rimini, I’ll be back soon.
(Day 4: Departure (and the Unanswered Question of the Gelato)
- 08:00 - Breakfast (One Last Hurrah): One last pastry. One last coffee. One last attempt to memorize the secret to that hotel’s buffet pastries. Success! It must be the butter.
- 09:00 - Check-Out (and a Moment of Unexpected Warmth): Checking out. The staff, who by now knew me at least by name, surprisingly friendly. There might have been a small, barely perceptible smile on the face of the receptionist. It was almost…touching.
- 10:00 - Departure (But Not Without a Vow): Leaving Rimini. I'm tired, sun-kissed, and slightly sticky from the beach. I didn't get my gelato. But in its place, I have a million memories, a few new friends, and a whole lot of stories to tell. I will be back, Rimini. I will conquer that gelato.
